A founding staff member of G2 Percussion in 2015, Kyle Morse now serves as the Ensemble Director and Education Coordinator. Mr. Morse began teaching locally in 2007. Since then, he has worked with nearly a dozen different drumline programs for over 25 full seasons. He has been on staff with Genesis Percussion since 2009. He has also worked with Newaygo HS, Hudsonville HS, Rockford HS, DeWitt HS, and Allendale HS, among others. Mr. Morse is currently the Drumline Instructor at Grand Valley State University and an employee of the Marshall Music Co. in Wyoming, MI.
Kyle graduated from Traverse City St. Francis High School in 2004. He marched in the Grand Valley State University Laker Marching Band from 2004-2008 before graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Middle East Studies. Kyle aged out from Drum Corps International in 2007 with Dutch Boy Drum and Bugle Corps. He also competed in the WGI circuit with Algonac WAVE in 2007 and Great Lakes Percussion in 2008, finishing his competitive marching career with Redline Percussion in 2009.

Program Coordinator, Battery Arranger
Will Gordillo has been involved in the marching activity since 1987. Will marched snare with Northern Aurora Drum and Bugle Corps from 1992-1994 and, in 1995, he marched with the Phantom Regiment. He also marched with the Wheaters from Rockford, Illinois in 1996. After aging out, he went on to teach groups like Phantom Legion Drum and Bugle Corps (1998-1999) Phantom Regiment Indoor Percussion Ensemble in 1997. He also taught many award winning high school groups in Michigan. In 2001, Will became the director of percussion at Jenison HS from Jenison, MI. He has been there since. Along with teaching and writing for many groups in the West Michigan area, he also was the percussion director for the Grand Valley State University Marching Band. In 2008, he helped co-found Genesis and is now the Ensemble Supervisor for The Grand Rapids Youth Performing Arts -- the organization that manages Genesis (PIO), G2 (PIA), Entourage (winds), and Medley (guard). Will is also a medical assistant for Spectrum Health where he is an MA Preceptor. Will has a BA in History and Political Science from Western Michigan University and an Associates in Medical Assisting from Davenport University. He currently lives in Grand Rapids, MI.
Jim Walsh is the band director at Sparta High School and is actively involved in percussion activities throughout Michigan. He was a member of Great Lakes Percussion (PIW) from 2000-2006 and a staff member from 2007-2008. He also arranged front ensemble music for Hudsonville Winter Drumline (PSA) from 2007-2010 and was the front ensemble caption head for Genesis Percussion in 2011. Jim is also the percussion arranger for numerous high school marching bands throughout Michigan, typically writing for 4-6 groups each year. He lives in Grand Rapids with his wife, Laura, and their two handsome cats, Wilfred and Panda Bear.
Front Ensemble Arranger
Cacia Castro has been involved in the competitive marching activity since 2004. She started with Northpointe Christian Drumline from 2004-2010. She also competed with Dutch Boy Drum and Bugle Corps in 2007. Cacia marched in the cymbal line at GVSU in 2012. This will be her sixth year with Genesis Percussion -- as a member from 2011-2014 and a G2 instructor in 2015, returning in 2016 on staff for both Genesis and G2. She ended her marching career with Redline Percussion in 2015. She has been teaching locally since 2011, working with various high schools and the inaugural year of G2.
Cacia graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Juvenile Justice. She hopes to work in a juvenile detention facility someday.
